Translation and Legalisation
The price of written translations is based on a standard page of translated text equal to 1800 characters. The price is formed depending on the language, volume, nature of text, complexity of text and the timeframe for the order. For your convenience, we have split the languages into three groups:
Group One Languages:
English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian:
Personal documents, ex. Birth certificate: 10 BGN/page
Standard text – normal timeframe: 12 BGN/page
Specialized text – normal timeframe: 12 to 14 BGN/page
Quick and Express Translations: 16 to 20 BGN/page
Group Two Languages:
Greek, Turkish, Serbian, Czech, Polish, Ukrainian, Romanian, Moldavian, Slovak, Croatian, Macedonian, Portuguese
Standard text – normal timeframe: 15 BGN/page
Specialized text – normal timeframe: 18 BGN/page
Quick and Express Translations: 20 to 30 BGN/page
Group Three Languages:
Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, Albanian, Slovenian, Hungarian, Arabic, Armenian, Georgian, Hebrew
Standard text – normal timeframe: 20 BGN/page
Specialized text – normal timeframe: 30 BGN/page
Quick and Express Translations: 35 to 40 BGN/page
The prices and terms are tentative. The widely accepted standard for a normal timeframe is 15-20 pages of standard complexity within three working days. The translation is considered an express translation when made within 8 working hours.
If you are interested in translation from a language which has not been included in this offer, please do not hesitate to contact us for information. Languages such as Japanese, Persian, Chinese, Korean, are negotiated for each specific case due to their complexity and the scarcity of translators who are working with those languages.
ORAL TRANSLATIONS - PRICES
The prices for oral translations are usually set per hour. A minimum of one hour is charged as well as the time when the translator is busy regardless of whether there is an actual translation or not.
For instance, for an oral translation in English before a notary for the signing of a power of attorney for the sale of real-estate property, whereby the principal is a foreign person, or Title Deed, the price is 30 BGN per hour.
The price depends on the type of translation, the language translated, the complexity of the terminology, the hours of work and other factors considered separately for each specific case.
LEGALISATION OF DOCUMENTS - PRICES
Legalisation of documents is done by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria. Depending on the type of documents, additional certifications by other institutions may also be required in advance. Due to this, the prices for legalisation are determined by the state fees paid and you need to contact us to get the total price for ligalisation. Heldis Translation Agency acts only as an agent for legalization and translation from some languages and we only charge an agency fee of 5 - 15 BGN per document.
